Sugar | 2 cups | |
Water | 1 cup | |
Rose water | 2 tsp | |
Lemon juice | 3 tsp |
Layali lubnan is lebanese dessert very light and tasty made from semolina pudding for first layer then ashta the second layer then whipping cream and topped with grind pistachios and drizzled syrup
Directions
- In a sauce pan put milk, semolina ,sugar ,rose water and crushed mistkih
- then turn on the stove and start stirring them till they start getting thick after boiling in like 5 minutes they should be done
- then move to a serving tray
- put the tray in the fridge to cool down for about 20 minutes
- take out the tray from the fridge after cooling down spread a layer of thick cream (ashta )
- then top the thick cream with a layer of whipping cream
- top with pistachios
- put the tray back in the fridge for at least 3 hours before serving
- In this time make the syrup on a sauce pan put water sugar on medium heat after start boiling it like 5 minutes add rose water and lemon juice and let it boil for another couple minutes
- let it cool down before using
- after couple hours take out cut to pieces And serve with syrup
