Kibbeh Bl Saynieh.Β Meat dough squares filled with grilled minced meat and pine nuts.
Directions
- In a hot pan, fry 2 big diced onions, in some oil then add 1/2 kilo of minced meat till they brown, add the spices (salt, pepper, dakka, cinnamon) , at the end add pine nuts and pomegranate seeds.
- In a food processor, cream the meat, onions, chili paste, spices and bulgur.
- Bring a big cooking tray, brush with oil.
- Divide uncooked meat dough in 2.
- Form patties from meat dough and place them side by side in the cooking tray, fill the gaps until you get a homogenous layer.
- Add the grilled minced meat layer over the first uncooked one
- Using the palms of your hands form patties again from the remaining part,Β and place them over the cooked meat layer.
- Using some oil or ice water, dip the top of your fingers and smooth the edges.
- If you are using a round tray, start by cutting your tray as slicing pizza, then into squares. If else, cut into equal squares.
- Pour some oil and bake in the oven, till you get golden edges
