Tomatoes | 3 medium | |
Lemon juice | 1/2 cup | |
Salt | 1/2 tsp | |
Pepper | 1/4 tsp | |
Olive oil | 1 cup |
Fresh & lightly authentic Lebanese tabouli. Beautiful bowl of super green summer.
Directions
- Put the bulgur in a bowl, cover it with an inch with water ( it will double in size) and let it rest at least 20 minutes.
- Wash and dry the parsley and mint. Remove the steam , finely chop the herbs together, and put them in a large mixing bowl.
- Chop onions and tomatoes and add them to the parsley and mint.
- Squeeze any remaining water out of bulgur and add it to the vegetables.
- Add lemon juice,olive oil,salt,and pepper. Mix well,taste,and adjust seasoning and olive oil as needed.
