1 kilo chicken breast | ||
1/2 cup plain yogurt | ||
1 Tbsp labneh | ||
3 Tbsp olive oil | ||
3 Tbsp lemon juice | ||
1 Tbsp White Vinegar | ||
2 tsp Dried Oregano | ||
2 Tbsp chopped Parsley | ||
2 garlic gloves, minced | ||
1 1/2 tsp Salt | ||
1 tsp Black Pepper |
Tzatziki Sauce
1 cup Greek Yogurt ( i mixed 1/3 cup plain yogurt with 2/3 cup labneh) | ||
1 Tbsp Olive Oil | ||
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice | ||
1 Tbsp White Vinegar | ||
1-2 Garlic Cloves , finely minced | ||
1 large Cucumber (peeled, grated, and squeezed to release water from cucumber) | ||
1 TbspFresh Dill, chopped ( i used instead chopped parsley ) | ||
1 tsp Salt (or more to taste) |
Yogurt marinated and Greek spiced chicken grilled to perfection and dipped in homemade tzatziki sauce.
This marinated chicken is packed with flavor and will bring the taste of greece right into your kitchen
•Instructions

Cut chicken breast into medium bite-size pieces. In a medium bowl, make the marinade by mixing the marinade ingredients.

Toss the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes – 2 hours.

Once the chicken is marinated, thread the chicken on the skewers. Add peppers and onions, if so desired.

Preheat the grill to a medium- high heat. To ensure the chicken kabobs don’t stick to the grill, lightly brush the grill with olive oil. Cook about 6-10 minutes, turning at least once.

In a medium bowl, mix together the Tzatziki sauce ingredient the key is to squeeze out as much water from the grated cucumber as possible.

Serve with warmed Naan bread or pita bread
