Kale, tough stems removed and torn into chunks | 2 large bunches | |
extra virgin olive oil | 2 Tbsp. | |

Sea salt to taste |
These Crispy kale chips are easily made. Just make sure they are completely dry before putting them in the oven and once in the oven, keep a close eye on them because they tend to burn very quickly. They are a healthy alternative to potato chips.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash kale leaves and dry completely.
- Add kale leaves to a large bowl and drizzle them with a little olive oil.
- Toss to combine (make sure with your hands that each leaf is coated evenly with olive oil).
- Sprinkle paprika on top of the kale.
- Season with sea salt.
- Toss until well combined.
- Arrange kale leaves on a baking sheet making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Place in preheated oven and bake 5-6 minutes before rotating the pan.
- Bake for another 1-2 minutes.
- Do not overcook.
- Remove kale chips from oven when they are still green with only a tiny bit of brown developing.
- Let chips sit 2-3 minutes before serving.
