Dried Rosemary 1/2 tsp
Dried Basil 1/2 tsp
Dried Thyme 1/2 tsp
Chicken Broth 1/2 cup
Butter 1 Tbsp
Salt and Black Pepper
Chopped Fresh Parsley Handful

I love making this easy, healthy chicken recipe. The kids love it and is so quick to make.

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium high.  Add oil to skillet.
  2. Season both sides of chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken breast to the skillet and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until they are seared and golden. Make sure the center of the chicken registers 165 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer.
  4. Remove the chicken breast from the skillet.
  5. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Make sure to “scrape” the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon.
  7. Add the herbs and cook for 2 additional minutes.
  8. Add the butter and stir until it is melted.
  9. Put the chicken breast back in the skillet and spoon sauce over top.
  10. Serve warm and sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley on top.
