Potatoes 2 large
Cilantro
Lemon juice 3 table spoon
Garlic 3 gloves
Chili paste 1 table spoon
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Oil for frying

 Batata harah (spicy potato)it’s spicy lebanese -middle eastern style Potato easy to make and quick to disappear,it’s a flavorful appetizer, side dish, Or party snack

They can be deep fried or baked

 

  1. Peel potatoes ,wash and cut into medium sized cubes
  2. Then heat oil and deep fry the potatoes till golden color or bake them at 450 degree till golden color (if you choose baking the potatoes   drizzle some oil and mix before baking)
  3. in a pan add olive oil and sauté minced garlic gloves then add  Chilli paste ,and some chopped cilantro mix then add  lemon juice
  4. Then add the deep fried or baked potatoes mix add salt and pepper and more cilantro as desired
  5. serve hot
