Atayef is favorite dessert enjoyed during feats. It consists of a bubbly dough filled with nuts or Ashta Cream. Can be enjoyed deep fried too.
Directions
- Mix all the ingreddients together in a food processor.
- Place the mixture in a measuring cup.
- Heat a non stick pan and pour equal amounts of dough to form small to medium discs.
- I love to bring something new to the recipe, so I\’ve changed the typical filling.
- I melted some sugar in a saucepan then added some cream.
- I\’ve added to the caramel some walnuts and raisins.
- I have fried the atayef into a moon shape, then added the caramel loaded with nuts and fruits.
