Plain flour 360g
Icing sugar 75g
Egg 1 large
Vanilla 1 tsp
Salt Pinch
Butter at room temperature 225g

Sablé are delicious cookies they are the perfect mix of buttery/tangy and crisp/tender.. They’re very popular all throughout France, but they’re a breeze to make at home from scratch – and the result is so pretty!

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Sift together flour, and salt.
  3. Mix the butter with the icing sugar until become creamy and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the flour mix gradually.
  6. Use a cookies cutter to make different style.
  7. Bake 12 to 15 mins or until golden around edges.
