Dough

flour 2 cups
Fine semolina 1 cup
Sugar 3 TBS
Baking powder 1 tsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Blossom rose water 1 Tbsp
Warm water 2 cups
Milk 1 cup
Salt Pinch
Yeast 1 tsp

Walnut filling

Chopped walnut 1 cup
Fine sugar 2 Tbsp
Cinnamon 2 Tbsp
Blossom rose water 2 Tbsp
Shredded coconut 1/2 cup

A great and easy dessert.

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients with an electric blender.
  2. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan, place around 2 Tbsp of the mixture each time, to get a single circular Qatyef.
  4. once it makes bubbles on the top and becomes dry, remove it into a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Fill it with walnut filling or qashta.
  6. serve it with condensed sugar syrup.
