Traditionally, loubia b zet . A homemade dish and a family favorite not only in my house, but in all the kitchens all over Lebanon. You might even find it on the menu of some Lebanese restaurant.
Directions
- Wash the green beans and piece them into 3 pieces, making sure to take off the very end ( stem).
- In a pot , add olive oil , chopped onions, and garlic sauté until translucent.
- Mass in the green beans and stir until they get slightly soft (about 10-15 minutes ) over medium heat.
- Add in the diced tomatoes ,salt and stir. Cover then allow to simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes ( stir occasionally until all the ingredients are softened and ready to eat ).
