fettuccine pasta | 1 packet (500 grams) | |
Flour | 4 tablespoons | |
Milk (room temperature) | 2.5 cups | |
Salt | Adjust to taste | |
Pepper | Adjust to taste | |
Italian Seasoning (Thyme, oregano, rosemary, basil) | 1 tablespoon | |
Butter | 4 tablespoons | |
Parmesan cheese | 1/4 cup |
Fettuccine Alfredo. One of the easiest and most delicious pastas. Ticks all the right boxes.
Directions
1. In a large pot, cook the Fettuccine pasta with salt according to the package instructions.
2. While the pasta is cooking, over medium heat melt the butter in a pot. Once melted, add the flour. Stir constantly, until the paste cooks and bubbles a bit (2 minutes)
3. Lower the heat, add the milk, continue to stir as the sauce thickens. Bring it to a boil.
4. Add salt and pepper (adjust to taste) and Italian seasoning
5. Remove from heat and toss with the pasta and some grated parmesan cheese, serve immediately.
