Chocolate chip cookies.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line the pan with baking paper.
- Mix together the flour and sugar in a bowl, then rub in the butter. Add the egg and vanilla and knead gently.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until the the mixture forms a smooth dough.
- Roll each piece of dough into a ball, then press it onto the baking tray.
- Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes, turning the tray halfway through.
- Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and leave to cool.
