Water 2 cups
Egg 1
Oil 1/2cup
Salt 2 tsp
Yeast 2tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp

Chicken Filling

Shredded cooked chicken 2 pieces
Diced Onion 1 small
Diced tomato 1 small
Shopped Parsley 1/4 cup
Corn 1 cup
Minced Garlic 1
Cream cheese 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Hot sauce or chili paste 1 tsp
Tomato paste 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese 2 cups

This chicken braid it’s filled with shredded chicken , veggies  and topped with cheese then baked .Perfect for lunch ,dinner , appetizers  or even finger food for occasions and party’s

Directions

Tip: this filling recipe make one braid but dough make 2 you can double the filling recipe if you want to make 2 braids or you can make the other half cheese roll

  1. Mix yeast ,sugar and wam water together for 5 minutes till get foamy then add salt oil and egg and mix then add gradually the flour till you form soft dough cover and let rise for about an hour
  2. while waiting for the dough start making the filling by cooking the chicken
  3. Shred the chicken to small pieces then add diced onion ,minced garlic ,diced tomato ,corn and chopped parsley
  4. then add salt ,pepper ,cream cheese,tomato paste and hot sauce or chilli paste you can add more or less depends on your taste and mix all together
  5. After 1 hour  put the dough on flat surface with some flour then roll till you form thin  rectangle shape dough
  6. Fill the middle with the filling and top with mozzarella cheese
  7. then cut on the sides lines so u can braid the dough
  8. When your done  brush the dough with milk or egg wash (egg yolk with little bit water ) and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  9. let the braid rest for about 15 minutes then bake at 350 till it’s golden color
  10. when you take out brush with oil
  11. then let it cool down little bit before cutting into small pieces
