Water Enough for boiling
Salt and Pepper Pinch
lemon juice 1/4 cup
Olive oil
Dijon Mustard 1/2 Teaspoon
Pesto Sauce 1/2 Teaspoon

A simple, very healthy appetizer found almost on every mezze table. It consists of boiled Artichokes with a nice dipping sauce besides.

Directions

  1. All you have to do is to boil them in lemony salted water for so many hours.
  2. Keep them in their water to keep them soft.
  3. For the dipping sauce; Lemon Juice, crushed garlic and olive oil.
  4. I love to add a bit of dijon mustard and some pesto sauce too.
  5. Enjoy it with your loved ones. Satein!
