HELLO Grateful people,
Today we are going to prepare Hummus with a green healthy twist.
Avocado Hummus Dip.
Directions
- Soak overnight 1 Kg of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) in water.
- Strain the beans the next day and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda.
- Bring them for a boil for 40 minutes or until they are soft. Strain them all.
- Measure 2 cups of cooked garbanzo , freeze the rest in separate equal amounts.
- Into the food processor, start with the garlic and salt, mint leaves, tahini paste then add the lemon juice, garbanzo beans, ice cubes and avocado. Pour the liquid gold “olive oil” all along the process. Until you obtain the perfect smoothness .
- Done!
- Time for some garnish, use whole garbanzo beans in the middle of the plate to show up the beautiful contrast , a drizzle of olive oil and we are done. (Photo available on my instagram page : HOMECUISINE.LB)
