| Chickpeas (cooked) | 500g | |
| Garlic gloves | 3 to 4 | |
| Lemon | 1 big lemon | |
| Cumin | 2tsp | |
| Green chili or chili powder | 1/2tsp | |
| Salt | 1tsp | |
| Olive oil | 1/4cup |

Msabaha comes only with garlic ,lemon, salt,cumin and chilli; if you add tahini to it then its called Mshawashe! So itβs your choice.
Directions
Β 1. Add the chickpeas with liquid to a pot on a medium heat.
Β Β 2. Let it come to a gentle boil.
Β Β 3. Add garlic and chili (if using), let them cook together for 3 minutes.
Β Β 4.Remove from heat, add tahini(if you want mshawashe),lemon juice salt and cumin.
Β Β 5. Mix well until all ingredients combined
Β Β Β 6. Drizzle with olive oil if you want (I add olive oil to everything).
Taste and adjust seasoning according to your taste
Serve with Pita bread.
