Ingredients

Red onion 1 piece
Bell peppers (green, red, and yellow preferably) 3 pieces
Chicken breasts 2 chicken breasts (350 grams)
Garlic - minced 2 cloves
Olive oil 4 tablespoons
Paprika 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Chili powder (optional) Adjust to taste
Salt and pepper Adjust to taste
Lime 1 piece
Fresh cilantro For garnish

Easy and Healthy Chicken Fajitas

Directions

1. Slice your chicken breasts, bell peppers, and onion into thin strips.

2. In a large bowl, add your chicken along with all the seasonings (paprika, chili flakes, cayenne powder, cumin, salt and pepper) and half of the olive oil and garlic. Mix and leave it to marinade for 15-30 mins.

3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet, then add your sliced onion and add bell peppers, 1 clove of garlic, salt and chili flakes

4. Cook until they soften slightly and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, over medium heat, cook your chicken until it’s well cooked (5-7 minutes)

6. Add the peppers and onions back into the skillet along with the juice of a lime.

7. Cook everything for another minute then serve immediately.
